A study circle is one of the most democratic forms of a learning environment ever created.

There are no teachers.  The group decides on what content will be covered, what scope will be used, as well as a delivery method.

One group member usually acts as facilitator to keep discussion flowing and on track. Typically used by people who share a common interest; other study circles may be created to analyse and find solutions.

This concept was developed in early 20th century Sweden as a part of the activities in popular movements, now this concept could be recycled on management.
